Diatom Perception

Student project by Sadia Quddus and Dougal Henken · Spring 2022

Sadia and Dougal imagine the experience of a diatom through color, gesture and projected imagery. Drawing on research into how diatoms respond to changes in their environment, the installation explores an intuitive, empathetic way to approach climate change through a nonhuman perspective.

Diatom Perception poster by Sadia Quddus and Dougal Henken combines a large microscopic form with colorful graphic patterns.
