Chris Woebken Studio is a design futures research practice based in Brooklyn, New York (unceded Lenape territory). The studio investigates how design can open new conversations around complex social, technological, and ecological shifts. Working through participatory projects and cultural commissions, the studio helps communities co-construct and inhabit speculative scenarios.
Chris is co-founder of the Extrapolation Factory and is currently in residence at Rhizome as part of the Counterstructural Commons Residency. Collaborative works are held in private and museum collections, including the MoMA Permanent Collection and the Nevada Museum of Art. He holds a Master's in Design Interactions from the Royal College of Art in London.
