Chris Woebken Studio is a design futures research practice based in Brooklyn, New York (unceded Lenape territory). The studio explores how design can spark new conversations around complex social, technological, and ecological shifts. By developing participatory projects and special commissions with cultural organizations, we help communities build agency and confidently envision possible futures. Collaborative works from the studio are held in private and museum collections, including the MoMA Permanent Collection and the Nevada Museum of Art. Chris currently teaches in Cornell's AAP Design Tech and the Fordham Visual Arts program. He holds a Master's in Design Interactions from the Royal College of Art in London.
