Developed for the exhibition The Air We Share at the Deutsches Hygiene-Museum Dresden, the Carbon Care Commoning Kit is a set of group exercises for imagining alternative futures. Through shared sensory and narrative prompts, the kit treats collective imagination as a practical act of commoning.
The project grew out of group workshops exploring how the energy transition might change the smells of our environment. These future scents were distilled into a series of perfumes, each accompanied by a scripted dialogue that lets visitors inhabit a character from that world. By using scent as an emotional touchpoint for climate change, the kit makes themes of decay, transition, and regeneration immediately physical.
